Stop getting alerts
about yourself.

Snooze every camera before you step outside, and your system stays armed the whole time.

Most of the alerts are you

Front door, driveway, back yard, garage. Anything that moves gets an alert, and every phone in the house gets it.

Alerts from four cameras landing on everyone's phone Cameras at the front door, driveway, back yard and garage each send motion alerts. The alerts converge and pile up as notifications on two household members' phones, and both people look annoyed. Front door Driveway Back yard Garage +9 more +9 more
One trip outside, four cameras, two phones.

Why it happens

A camera can't tell you apart from anyone else. It sees movement at the door and sends an alert, whether that's a stranger or you with the recycling.

What OffDuty does

Snooze before you step outside and those alerts don't arrive. Two minutes later it's back to normal on its own.

Multiple ways to snooze

One action, two minutes. Repeat it for more time, up to ten.

Tap it

Open OffDuty and hit snooze. One tap, and a live countdown starts.

Say it

"Hey Siri, snooze my OffDuty cameras." Your phone stays in your pocket and the app never opens.

Long-press it

Hold the app icon on your home screen and pick Snooze All. Also in Spotlight and Shortcuts.

Press a button

Optional. A BlueCharm Bluetooth button by the door. Press it and your phone snoozes the cameras from inside your pocket. Sold separately. See setup.

Snoozing doesn't disarm anything

A snooze is only a snooze

Snoozing pauses notifications and nothing else. Your system stays armed, your cameras keep recording, and no setting is changed. You just stop getting pinged for the two minutes you're walking through the door.

A snooze can't fail open

The countdown runs on your camera provider's servers, not on your phone. Close the app, lose signal, or flatten your battery, and your alerts still come back on schedule.

Arming, disarming, and turning motion detection on or off are separate controls you choose to use. Those changes stay until you change them back, exactly as they would in your provider's own app.

No account with us

You sign in to your camera service, not to us. We never see your password and hold nothing of yours.

No tracking

No advertising SDKs, no third-party analytics, nothing sold or shared. Anonymous usage data only, with an off switch.

Free

No subscription, no ads, and nothing to unlock.

Per-camera control

Snooze everything, one system, or a single camera, each with its own live countdown. End a snooze early whenever you want.

Arm and motion controls

Arm or disarm a system, and switch motion detection on or off for any single camera, without leaving the app. Reorder your systems and cameras so the ones you use are on top.

Stays in sync

Snooze somewhere else and OffDuty knows. It re-checks every twenty seconds, so there's one source of truth.

Recent clips

The latest recordings with inline playback, so you can see what set them off without switching apps.
